In this role you will assemble and inspect micro components of a high precision electromechanical device that supports the defense market. You will ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for their work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. They will also set up and monitor production in the area and participate in the continuous improvement processes at the site to improve safety, productivity, and quality improvements.
Job Details:
2nd Shift - Monday - Friday - 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor.
Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions.
Qualifications / Skills:
High School Diploma/GED Required.
2-4 years of Assembler experience (i.e., soldering, wiring & electronics).
Recent experience soldering under microscope is required.
Ability to work with “fine pitch” components & detail chassis wiring.
Good hand dexterity
Working knowledge of computers strongly desired
IPC Certification a plus
Good written & verbal communication skills
Good Team Player
Must be willing to work weekends, Holidays, and extended hours on an as need basis.
Vision Test will be required.
Special Considerations:
Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological, or other physical risks are anticipated.
Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
