Job Summary:

To monitor and maintain compliance with Quality Control Department programs, processes, qualifications and authorizations.

Job Duties:

• Monitor and maintain the following programs, processes, qualifications, authorizations and records for the Quality Control Department
• Inspection personnel initial training requirements
• RII/Alternate Inspection authorizations
• Non Destruction Test qualifications and On-Job-Training documentation
• Receiving Inspection qualifications
• One time RII authorizations
• RII renewals
• Compile Quality Control scorecard elements
• Coordinate Aircraft Records document corrections

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or above; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience 4 years’ heavy jet 121 air carrier or 135/145 or manufacturer or comparable military experience
• 4 years’ Inspector experience with a 121 air carrier or 135/145 or manufacturer or comparable military experience
• Working knowledge of 737 aircraft systems
• Must have a valid Airframe and Powerplant license
• Computer literate, WIZARD system a plus, and maintain and create low to medium level pc databases
• Must be able to communicate effectively, oral and written
• Able to read and comprehend Maintenance Procedures Manuals, related documents, logbook discrepancies and FAR's
• Must have the ability to motivate others as part of a Team and work under stressful situations

Physical Abilities:

• Must have corrected 20/20 vision and adequate hearing to facilitate inspection process
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in a confined or cramped space for extended periods of time
