Substation Physical Drafter

Description:
Position Description:

Creates and revises physical plans, sections, and details related to Electric Utility substation installations including, general arrangements, grounding, conduit and foundation designs.

Performs first line quality assurance review of drawing package

Electronically transmits completed design packages using current document management system.

Coordinates project drafting schedules with design engineers.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge and Experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience working on time-critical projects
• Experience and competency working with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
