Description:

Flight Test Control Engineer for Navy F-35 test aircraft at Patuxent River NAS, Maryland. The successful applicant will provide Flight Test Ground and Flight Operations engineering support.

Tasks will include coordination and execution of pre-flight and post-flight activities to ensure aircraft's test readiness including issuance, and closure of documentation relating to work performed on the aircraft, and coordination of aircraft modifications.

Position is responsible for control and tracking of aircraft configuration, coordinating and staging of support equipment, and coordinating with other organizations associated with test readiness.

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:

Experience in control and tracking of aircraft configuration, coordinating and staging of support equipment, along with coordinating with others organizations.Aircraft maintenance experience at a supervisor level.

Experience in Fault Isolation.

Demonstrated Verbal and Written Communication skills across all levels of management. Ability to travel as required.

Desired:

Flight test control engineering experience to include: applications and electronic tools: JEDI, ATLAS, PDM, and JDL and wiring diagrams; aircraft ground test experience.
