Project Leader – Infotainment System

Job Details:
We are looking for a Project Leader responsible for the requirements capturing of applications aimed at Automotive Domain. Your primary focus will be identification, evaluation and verification of software requirements for Automotive Infotainment Systems. This role will have a privileged contact with Business stakeholders in leading the Technical Business Requirements capture phases. It will also support the technical teams (internal and external) to explain and clarify business and system requirements. You will be working along-side OEM managing offshore team of engineers and developers. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Automotive infotainment experience is preferred.

Skills/ Requirements
* Proven successful experiences in leading automotive production programs.
* Strong knowledge in Automotive IVI system working (Hardware & Software) and external dependencies at a higher level.
* Familiarity in developing IVI applications like Media, Camera, Bluetooth and Voice Recognition
* 5+ years of programming experience in C++ and other UI technologies in Linux based envioronment
* 3+ years of experience in developing HMI / Application software for embedded products
* Ability to speak, read and write in Japanese and English languages
* Strong knowledge in UI design guidelines and best practices
* Knowledge in UML
* Working knowledge of software development processes
* Hands-on experience in Business Process Modelling and requirement prototyping.
* Practical end to end experience in system engineering life cycle and process.
* This position is based out of US

Key Responsibilities
The Project Leader will be responsible for:
* Interface with Global and Regional Business stakeholders to translate business needs into Technical Business Requirements
* Translation of Business Requirement into functional and non-functional System and sub-systems Requirements
* Communicate captured Business and System Requirements to Local and Global Stakeholders
* Prepare requirement specification to illustrate business requirements to internal and external stakeholders
* Participates in peer reviews to validate the requirements as well as reviews of the system design and test cases to confirm the system adheres to documented requirements.
* Support the Test Team by providing a clear understanding of System Requirements during the definition of Tests Scenarios.
* Identify the test scenarios/environments to cover up the system requirements verification.
* Manage requirements configuration
* Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix
* Solution involved various IS Systems (multiple vendors, and multiple internal systems)

Task
* Lead the Business Requirements elicitation and translation into Technical System and sub-system Requirements.
* Document Technical Business and System Requirements, using appropriate perspectives.
* Lead Business requirement elicitation meetings with business stakeholders and suppliers.
* Model/ prototype technical business requirements as and when needed.
* Define user stories (use cases) from captured business needs.
* Give support to Test Team during the test planning and test scenario definition.
* Ensure completeness of requirements implementation as part of software testing.
