Client is seeking an application developer to support the Air Force Research Laboratory in the development of custom software utilities, to include interface modules required for the AFRL Enterprise Business System (EBS). The selected candidate will coordinate with AFRL leadership, the EBS Program Office, and any other offices necessary to accomplish these tasks.

Duties will include the following:

Assist Directorate customers in developing business or productivity applications, including: documenting requirements and specifications, identifying solutions, and acquiring, implementing, documenting, training, testing and validating applications.

Develop Windows-based client applications to include connections to Oracle, Microsoft SQL or other database systems employed by the Directorate.

Develop Web applications using accredited software and Web development tools.

Perform database administration of Directorate database resources.

Develop and maintain public web site content in accordance with all required AF regulations working in coordination with the 88th Comm Group and Public Affairs.

Develop and maintain internal web site content for AFRL.

BS in a computer technical field is preferred; however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Security Plus Certification is preferred with a DoD SECRET security clearance. DoD is not a must have requirement.

Experience in the following programming languages is highly desired:

PHP, Laravel Framework, and MS-SQL Database.

Experience in developing within an iBPMS platform (such as Pega) is a plus, but not a requirement.

Although a candidate with Security Plus Certification and a security clearance is preferred, we will work with otherwise highly qualified candidates with the right skillset to achieve these requirements after their hire date.
