International eCommerce Build & Deploy Leader
We are seeking for an International eCommerce Built & Deploy Leader for a well-known company in WA, state. This position will be responsible for oversight and administration of the code base that supports SAP Hybris Solution. The position requires a candidate to develop, oversee and maintain the build/release system which is comprised of branching, scripting, build configurations and compiled code deployments.
This includes build automations, auditing Web Server Configuration in non-production and production
environments. In addition, the Build Master will also spend time in development activities which includes enhancements and updates to the source code to get it streamlined and compatible for build automation, manual and automated deployments, troubleshooting and fixing issues in the source code for any build/release errors and compatibility issues.
Candidates must have hands on experience with build and release automated and manual processes for application deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for architecting, maintaining, and streamlining the automated build and release process from code compilation, build definitions, to deploying releases to multiple environments
Technical Expertise in troubleshooting techniques for source code compilation issues, automated build packages errors and deployment issues
Responsible for deployment quality and solving post-build issues
Coordinate & maintain source control branches and versioning of software branches such as master, develop, release and feature branches.
Perform integrations with merge conflicts
Have an in-depth understanding of the hosted server environments, the various applications deployed, the systems, the platforms supporting those and the 3rd party operational tools
Facilitating and championing the quick resolution of problems found during any build and deployment efforts to non-production or production
Creating and maintaining documentation of the build/release process by working with the Release manager
Investigating tools and processes and integrating them so that they can improve the reliability, stability and efficiency with which the build and release happens
Working closely with the development and Operations Support team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet the new feature requirements
Work with the technical teams to automate build and deployment process through build system for all applicable applications and database scripts
Merge manual and automatic procedures into a single, highly-repeatable process
Design and configure continuous integration build system through collaboration with development and Operations Support teams
Working knowledge of Environment configuration management
Assist the Operations support Team with deployment responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring continuous maintenance of build servers which includes archiving of old packages, build retention policies, cleanups and other build agent configurations
Ability to do manual build and deployments whenever automation process do not work or it is still not yet ready for new applications
Ability to continually learn new techniques, research and bring in new technologies, process and techniques relevant to the work
Coordinate full and partial builds that may only include certain subsystems of the entire application
Work with the DevOps / Infrastructure team to assess, audit and maintain environments
Work with the project and release management to ensure targeted release dates are achieved
Create implementation and recovery plans for releases
Handle appropriate communication both prior to and following all releases with all technical / devops teams
Audit and Accountability Responsibility for Infrastructure(s) / Environment(s)
Atlassian Administration - Permissions Management (Confluence, JIRA, GIT, Stash, Bit Bucket, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Expertise in GIT based source code management and build definition setups
Good experience in creating build and release process documents
Expert in source code branching techniques and maintenance of those
Expertise in Release automation management tools for single and multiple environment deployments
Ability to troubleshoot and fix compilation issues in the source code when required
Must possess strong application support troubleshooting skills
Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment using tools such as: Xebia Labs, Jenkins, Chef, Bamboo or any other CI system equivalent
Experience with build and scripting tools such as ANT / NAnt, Maven, Perl, and UNIX shell scripting
Python scripting, Perl scripting knowledge.
Candidate having brief sanity test experience (Load SW on HW and perform testing)
Experience administering a source code management tool such as Subversion or Git
Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills as well as a positive attitude.
Must possess excellent customer service, communication skills and time management skills
Organized and deadline driven with the ability to track multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to effectively set priorities and work well under deadlines with a strong attention to detail

Proven ability to support and collaborate with multiple Project Managers within a Program
Flexible, must be able to change priorities quickly, focus on new ones without distraction, able to deal with conflict and work under pressure to meet deliverable dates / timelines
Must have experience in negotiating timelines and deliverables with a strong sense of urgency
Program / Project Management experience managing medium/large scale projects using traditional agile development methodologies
Proven experience in Agile / DevOps methodologies
Must possess strong process knowledge of System Development Life Cycles
Experience with executing project governance including change control and issue/risk management
Working knowledge of Project Management Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Project, SmartSheets, etc.)
Must be able to adjust work hours to accommodate global teams
Ability and willingness to travel globally
24 x 7 x 365 operations - evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required Recommended skills, abilities, and certifications
Experience in eCommerce Solutions (specifically Hybris eCommerce Platforms)
Experience with projects focused on infrastructures and software solutions
2-5 years of retail business knowledge
Project Management certification and/or demonstrated core project management skills based on familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Proficient in the use of the Google products: email, spreadsheet, document, presentation, analytics
Knowledge of French, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin a plus
