Cable Harness Assembler

Description:
• Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components
• Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units
• Utilizes a wide range of tools
• Interfaces with PC to record job activities
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature
• Know how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and/or MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)
• Adequate computer knowledge to look up engineering EOs using local database and other required documentation prior to starting a job
• Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions
Cable manufacturing experience (IPC-620 certification) preferred
• Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units
• Utilizes a wide range of tools Interfaces with PC to record job activities

One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or 3 to 5 years of experience in cabling Must have knowledge of electronics parts (no written testing required)
1st Shift - 5:30 or 6am start + overtime and weekend work offered

Rate: $17/hour
