Assembly & Warehouse Associate

~ Looking for someone with a mechanical aptitude who’s interested in gaining experience within the Manufacturing / Production Industry.
~ Looking for a highly motivated individual who’s able to get a task and drive it to completion.
~ Someone with either aviation or automotive parts painting experience would be ideal but not necessary

Summary

The Assembly and Warehouse Associate person will split their time between Mechanical Assembly and Inventory Control (Warehouse Clerk). This position will require a person with a diversified skill set who is flexible and able to prioritize workloads in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment. A typical day can vary greatly and the person can be asked to do assembly work in the production area or inventory control duties in the warehouse / inventory cage.

Duties / Responsibilities:

> The assembly work would entail entry level skills with an aptitude for mechanical assembly.
> Connect / complete small wiring terminations as needed during mechanical assembly
> The warehouse duties would involve inventory control by part allocation to work orders and the stocking of newly received inventory.
> Perform cycle counts and assist with shipping & receiving duties
> Complete production and/or quality related documentation
> The split of these duties will depend on the day-to-day needs in each area but will typically be 50% Mechanical Assembly and 50% Inventory Control.
> Keep work area clean and organized as to present a professional work environment

Job Requirements / Experience:

> 3+ years of production / manufacturing experience or Inventory Control experience
> High School Diploma and U.S. Citizenship is a MUST
> Experience with hand tools (Wrenches, Screwdrivers, Torque tools, Small power tools)
> Forklift experience
> Working knowledge of SAP preferred
> Able to read and interpret instructions, directions, engineering drawings and schematics
> Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
> Able / willing to work with large vehicle & equipment that will require climbing / crawling around, on and under.
