Position Software Project Test Engineer
Contract length- Initially 12 months. This is long term and hope to go perm.
$40-$48 per hour
Shift 1st
Starting asap
Pay Range $40-$48 per hour BG/DT Both

Use Teamcenter for some testing environments.
Python experience would be great
Agile process experience a plus

Additional Notes
This role is for a test engineer to conduct software testing. This person will work very closely with the development team

Reviewing functional specs
Creating test plans
Interactive testing
Automated testing from Use Cases
Regression testing

Will be utilizing homegrown tool or from and will be trained on that tool

Job Details Project Test Engineer:
Learn the Agile process & participate as member of a scrum team
Create, design new project test plans to qualify the contents of project requirements and functional specifications.
Design test cases listed in the project test plan.
Conduct testing of projects and sign-off on time
Perform system level testing during FPV and SLED tests
Develop knowledge and become technical expert for one or more CAE products. Design and implement new training courses and tutorials for fellow testers or documentation persons.
Ensure that Code Coverage Analysis techniques are used to validate the completeness of all of the project testing performed.
Improve test specifications by analyzing the root causes of technical issues and develop testing solutions for those root causes.
Create and apply new approaches as necessary to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing.
Acquire customer inputs for project testing purposes.
Work with minimal supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment.
Broad skill set with extensive proficiency across multiple product lines.
