Job Description:
Applicant will be the software architect responsible for embedded software definition, design, development and integration to support real-time embedded avionics software projects. The applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating software. Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Systems Integration team. Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs. Modeling and simulation efforts. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment. Good presentation skills.

The selected applicant will utilize advanced technical concepts in support of software products within Advanced Development Programs (ADP). The applicant will be responsible for creating real-time software, as well as algorithm design and development of engineering system modeling and data representation. This role requires a highly motivated, organized engineer that is familiar with all aspects of software development. Applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Skills Mandatory:
• Bachelors in technical discipline such as computational media or computer science or software engineering
• Strong C++ and object oriented programming/design skills
• Experience with either Linux or Windows operating environments

Skills Desired:
• Experienced Microsoft Visual Studio IDE user
• Limited experience with real-time systems and multi-threading

Level: Level 1: BS+0-2 YRS
Pay Rate: $57.00 Hourly
