STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Aerospace Engineering Managers for Temp-to-Perm positions in Wichita, Kansas.

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of company design/certification projects.

Job Duties:

• Must know the fundamentals of air transport, operations, and revenue management, and Aerospace and Defense

• Manage staffing and successful performance of employees Min Requirements
• Aid in the development, oversight and management of timelines (IMS) for the program
• Manage the implementation, coordination and reporting for programs or contracts
• Track Program costs
• Interface with company technicians and procurement to develop product design specification and optimize production processes

Qualifications:

• Recent AutoCAD experience required
• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; Master's preferred
• FAA certifications and/or designmations a plus, but not required
• Prefers 5-10 years' experience in Management or Supervisory Role over design group
• Proficient computer skills using Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Word preferred,
• Ability to apply technical knowledge and/or technical skills in solving complex problems
• Has a high level of confidentiality
• Provide input on new projects and be able to assess resource requirements for department
• Must have experience interfacing with FAA, understand the inner-working’s, processes and requirements of the FAA as it relates to systems certification and aircraft modifications and be able to build/maintain these critical relationships
