2173 - STRESS ENGINEER - COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
Participate in structural concept definition.
Analyze complex composite structures.
Participate in certification testing definition.
Participate in stress methodologies evolution.
Write and check certification reports.
Have a University mechanical or civil or aerospace engineering degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
Must have experience with composite structures and their behavior.
Are pragmatic and able to analyze results.
Are able to set-up methodologies to solve technical issues.
Knowledge of CATIA, finite element modeling and analysis is an asset. General computer skills are essential. Visual Basic knowledge is an asset.
Must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
Must be able to read and write in English and have good communication skills. Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
Must have excellent knowledge of Patran / Nastran
Must have static experience with composite and hybrid structures.
Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and VBA language.
Must have knowledge and experience of structural sizing methodologies.
Must be competent in one of the following and have some knowledge of all other aspects of analysis (Structural stress analysis, FEM and loads).
Must have Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure requirements (TCCA, FAA & EASA).
Must have Experience of working with new design and must be able to demonstrate understanding of aircraft component load path and functions.
Paid – 3 Mths Only - @ $225 per. Wk
