PDS is seekinga Product Manufacturing Engineer for an open position in Torrance, CA

Job Responsibilities include:

Responsible for designing and developing a product/product family processes for built to print production line of sub-assemblies and final assemblies for commercial and military aerospace applications.
Ensures production procedures efficiently utilize materials and personnel.
Evaluates finished product for quality purposes and recommends changes to product specifications as necessary to make process improvements.
Working with engineering customers to clarify design intent to ensure products are manufactured to meet specifications and eliminate waste and non-value added operation to support continuous improvement. 

Desired manufacturing experience: Tack welding, CNC fabrication / programming, designing manufacturing tools. Familiar with manufacturing processes: aluminum dip brazing, resistance soldering, flux removal, chem film, painting and plating. Working w/Acetone and Alcohol, 

Familiar with manufacturing processes: Tack welding, aluminum dip brazing, resistance soldering, induction soldering/brazing, flux removal, chem film, painting and plating. 
Product for quality purposes and recommends changes to product specifications as necessary.  0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
