Description: PDS Tech is seeking a Systems Engineer 3for an open position in Ridley Park, PA. In your role, you will:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following requirements:
Aerospace Reliability and Maintainability work experience or equivalent Basic understanding of Aerospace terminology, systems, sub-systems, functions Knowledge of typical aerospace BOMs (structure, P/N, Rev, nomenclature) Experience (3-5 yrs) in performing Reliability and Maintainability prediction and allocation modeling and compliance analysis Experience (3-5 yrs) in performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Experience (3-5 yrs) in developing Reliability and Maintainability Program Plans Experience (3-5 yrs) in developing comprehensive CDRLs and written reports Experience (3-5 yrs) using Excel and MS Office tools Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) and/or Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3) analysis Knowledge of Maintenance Task Analysis (MTAs) to identify maintenance task steps, estimated task times, tool requirements, skill requirements
Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification
