Test & Evaluation Engineer

We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Test & Evaluation Engineer
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Tukwila, WA

Responsibilities:
• Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity.
• Lead the development of test procedures.
• Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures.
• Design calibration system/test fixtures.
• Develop data processing tools and algorithms.
• Generate calibration procedures and software.
• Guide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements.
• Oversee debriefing of the test team.
• Lead the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements.
• Approve test data prior to delivery to customer.
• Formulate expectations for test data based on historical data.
• Perform functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity.
• Train others.
• Work under minimal direction.

Qualification:
• Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Security Clearance is required at time of hire.
• Equivalent Lab and aircraft mission systems experience is acceptable.
• Previous military derivative Mission Systems lab experience required.
• Previous Environmental Systems testing experience required for aircraft.
• Domestic travel up to 28 days to Oklahoma City, OK. Less than 30 percent a year.
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) combined with 9+ years' related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
• ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
