First Shift

Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes. Provides statistical information for establishing quality standards by identifying testing methods and samples.

⦁ High School Diploma or equivalent
1 Must read, write, speak, and understand English
2 Minimum 18 Months experience in Aerospace
3 Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical data and quality procedures.
4 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
5 Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
6 SAP a plus *

⦁ Ability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
⦁ Receiving Inspection and/or Production Inspection, Audits
1 Perform product inspection tasks per inspection procedures
2 Document inspection activities on appropriate inspection records
3 Maintain inspection records in an organized manner
4 Make decisions regarding product acceptance per product documentation and company workmanship criteria
5 Document product discrepancies per company procedures
6 Disposition product non-conformances as approved
7 Assist QA Engineering in corrective action follow-up
8 Prioritize product inspection per schedule needs
9 Understand & interpret design data (prints, BOM's, etc.)
10 Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
11 Use proper inspection methods & equipment (inspection hand tools, surface plate, etc.)
12 Assist QA Engineering in development of inspection methods and procedures
13 Capable of supporting multiple product lines and/or commodities
14 Answer quality & inspection questions
15 Perform product & quality system audits as required
16 Maintain applicable skills, knowledge, & certifications as required
17 Miscellaneous duties as required
18 Ability to prioritize numerous tasks to meet schedule needs.
