Logistics Engineer

Description:
This is a full time, 15 month contract, located in Colorado Springs*
*Requires an Active Secret Clearance*

We are hiring for a Logistics Engineer who will be working on Secret projects within the aerospace field. The candidate will be expected to work with site personnel to develop and maintain effective and efficient logistic support programs.

Daily duties will entail conducting regular inventory audit/checks, manage Government furnished equipment (GFE) checks, create shipping documents (DD 1149), work with shipping databases, manage facility test equipment and maintain calibration schedules, conducting System Safety and EHS Assessments, including equipment modifications to ensure meet safety requirements (typically UL compliance), work with Safety Data Sheets for hazardous materials.

Required:
*5 years’ experience in Logistics or similar engineering at a Government or subcontractor site.
*Experience with Government GFE checks and forms such as DD 1149
*Good EHS and System Safety knowledge and experience including Safety Data sheets.
*Knowledge of ILS Processes to support maintaining the ILS Depot Operations Manual
*Active Secret Clearance; Only US Citizens please

*Engineering degree preferred
