Engineering Project Manager

Description:
Project ManagerResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

1) Responsible for organizing project personnel, function departments, and external vendors.



2) Developing and leading cross-function teams (Engineering, Production, Quality, Validation, etc.) to implement and progress agile strategies to maintain project schedules.



3) Vendor communication, coordination, and management.



4) Building and maintaining cross-functional integrated project schedules by identifying critical paths and key project interdependencies.



5) Coordinating task assignments, developing resource demand plans, and utilization forecast.



6) Implementation of project Sprints (short, stand up meetings with key resources for critical path deliverables that occur on a regular basis through the week), including training.

7) Sprint tracking, metrics development, and reporting.



8) Managing and monitoring execution of all project deliverables from equipment procurement through system qualifications and project closure.



9) Budget management and reporting.



10) Project risk identification, management, mitigation, and, reporting through tools such as SWOT analysis and risk probability, severity, and impact categorization.



11) Utilizing tools such as MS Project software to analyze schedules, develop scorecards, track KPIs, and generate useful reporting.



12) Organizing and managing project related documents.



13) Schedule, coordinate, and lead project team meetings with agendas and meeting minutes.



14) Project status reporting to all required parties.



15) Closing of projects and proper transition of responsibilities to all impact functions.



16) Additional Project Management activities as directed.



Requirements:

Aerospace industry experience

Project Management tools

Minimum of 3 years as project manager

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
