What You’ll Do:

Act as a SME to work with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements on complex multi-tiered projects.
Lead analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
Lead testing and validation work on complex system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met.
Work with other to develop program test strategies.
Manage performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
Conduct program independent reviews and reports results to program leadership.
Provide critical support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Lead research into technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Make recommendations for technology investments.
Recognize as a business unit-wide expert in process development and qualification, physical and functional integration and installation design and resolving supplier technical issues.
What You’ll Need:

Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
Experience with design and implementation of real-time software / gateware / firmware for digital communications and / or signal processing algorithms
Professional work experience with Verilog and / or VHDL
Computer literate
Must be able to read and write training material/job material
Successfully completing training OJT is a contingency

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry combined with 14 + years of relevant work experience; or Master’s Degree combined with 12 + years of relevant work experience; or Master of Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study.
