Systems Engineer 5 - Secret Clearance

Summary:
Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join the team located in St. Charles, MO.
The purpose of the team is to work with all product development teams, to develop, track, and mature system level and team level requirements, interface control documents, requirement verification methods, verification approach, and verification success criteria.
This position interfaces with multiple stakeholders including the United States Navy, multiple missile launch platforms government and contractors, International Customers, Program management, and individual engineering product teams. Position Responsibilities:
Ensure that the system and subsystem designs meet their performance requirements
Provide leadership for system and subsystem SETR Event planning, preparation, and execution (e.g. design reviews, verification reviews, etc...)
Technical Lead: review, direct, and coordinate Systems Engineering activities at the system and subsystem level
Act as the primary point of contact for Systems Engineering related activities to Subsystem Product teams
Work with product teams to develop and track system and subsystem requirements
Track and coordinate verification activities
Coordinate and review supplier Statements of Work (SOWs)
Help develop Integrated Master Plans (IMPs)/Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Help product teams develop and coordinate Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Change Notices (ICNs)
Assist in final weapon system and subsystem performance evaluation and specification verification
Help product teams develop and coordinate Verification Completion Notices (VCNs)

Qualifications - External
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
10+ years of experience with systems engineering
5+ years of experience multi-tasking and working in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working collaboratively to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Prior experience, knowledge working Systems Engineering activities on military applications or aircraft applications.
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) implementation experience.
Systems Engineering experience using tools such as DOORS, Windchill, VersionOne, BORIS, and other common tools.
