Manual Assembly Operator
(US Citizenship Required*)

Responsibilities:
• Perform project tasks/assignments of a more complex nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Read and interpret basic schematics and drawings.
• Follow methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, & cable harnessing on subassemblies and units.
• Integrate sub-assemblies into final hardware.
• Perform final assembly of small systems.
• Perform basic electrical tests Performs more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems.
• May count and sort various product items, placing labels on packages, put manuals into binders, and form or break down boxes for the final product.
• May conduct manufacturing inspections on processing line in accordance to quality specifications.
• May be involved in packing, movement and protection of finished product.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
• Perform general fabrication and marking.
• Operate less complex equipment.
• Perform basic loading and configuring of customer/standard software on customer device.
• Perform basic inspection per documentation.
• Accurately complete process paperwork and entering data into the applicable work order management system.
• Perform mixing of solvents and paints per specification.
• Support continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Support safety/housekeeping standards.
• Contact are primarily within immediate work unit and direct supervisor.
• Normally follow established procedures on routine work with limited supervision, requires detailed instructions only on new assignments.

Qualifications:
• This position supports a 2nd shift work schedule.
• Clear manufacturing process skills.
• Clear knowledge of polarity and inspection criteria.
• Clear knowledge of Bills of Material (BOM).
• Clear knowledge of applicable work order tracking Management systems.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Clear computer skills.
• Clear knowledge of measuring equipment and math.
• Ability to use various computer software applications to analyze and manage data.
• Ability to interpret basic documents, work instruction, and schematics.
• Ability to exhibit adaptability/flexibility.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• J Standard Certification for soldering.
