Mission Assurance Engineer

Description:
PGS Worldwide is seeking two Mission Assurance Engineers in Dulles, VA to create and implement mission/flight assurance plans for individual spacecraft flight hardware programs. This is a six month initial contract opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified applicants.

Job Duties:

1) Addressing design, manufacturing, integration and test activities in accordance with company and contractual requirements.

2) Work as a member of an integrated product team with Safety & Mission Assurance staff in hardware and software quality assurance, supplier assurance, configuration management, EEE parts engineering, materials engineering and occupational safety to address technical issues, meet program requirements and ensure mission success.

3) Interface with customers, vendors, and with Manufacturing, Integration & Test and Engineering organizations to identify and resolve mission/flight assurance issues.

4) Provide support to program Flight Assurance Manager in review of supplier and internal design/manufacturing/test documentation and processes, identification of non-conformance root causes, recommendation of effective corrective actions, and customer technical communication.

Requirements:

1) US Citizen

2) BS Degree and 5 years experience

3) Strong RCCA and AS9100 experience

4) Comfortable making complex presentations to large groups

5) Past experience working in commercial aerospace environment is a plus.
