We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Software Quality Engineer 3
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Huntsville, AL

• Define and maintain program level software quality engineering processes, resources and infrastructure
• Prepare and present information at formal review meetings
• Assist developing proposals and cost estimates
• Review, comment, and approve software life cycle documents and program products
• Plan and conduct audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions
• Participate in configuration management activities
• Review deviations and waivers to the software baseline
• Improve products and processes and manage risk
• Evaluate validity of test cases against established regulatory and performance requirements
• Verify test results
• Perform final reconciliation of software data products
• Provide input to program specific software quality requirements for flow down to suppliers
• Verify acceptability of supplier's software quality systems and programs
• Perform software acceptance and delivery activities for low risk procurements
• Identify non-conformances and issues corrective actions
• Review, approve, and verify effectiveness of, corrective and preventive action plans
• Work under general direction

• Experience working with the software development process
• Experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes to engineering development and manufacturing / production efforts
• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS 9100 Quality Systems
• Experience performing product, process or compliance audits of Quality Management Systems
• Experience auditing to quality system standards
• Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units
• Current American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications (CQA, CQE or CQT)
• Current American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications (CSDT (Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal tool), CPES
• (Change Processing and Estimating System), IQDS (Integrated Quality Data System), CQ (ClearQuest), or DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System))
• Experience in Supplier Quality processes
• Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection
• Experience analyzing supplier proposals
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
