Sr Engineering Technician


PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Sr Engineering Technician


Be a part of a team that develops and deploys data acquisition equipment for testing highly complex turbine engine products. You will participate in the testing and validation process to support the development and certification across Honeywell products. This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards and/or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business results. You will collaborate with other experienced engineers and technicians to provide a test experience for our customers that applies best practices to achieve world-class results. * Grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction * Work with team members to identify, document, and implement process improvements * Preform basic low-level electrical work, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical and data connectivity terminations for various mechanical and electronic equipment * Perform hands-on solutions at the Network/Desktop level; including installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks and applications * Install and maintain Microsoft Windows operating systems including standard business applications and associated peripherals * Repairing and replacing hardware/systems as necessary

CANDIDATES MUST BE A U.S. PERSON ONLY * Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school for Information Technology and a minimum of two to three years of related experience and/or training * Microsoft Certification preferred WE VALUE * An understanding of data acquisition products and industry standard processes, specializing in Data Acquisition processes; including parameters recorded by means of Microsoft and Linux & Unix operating systems utilizing Analog and Digital equipment for acquisition of Frequencies, Voltages, Temperatures, Pressures and Vibration. * Knowledgeable of basic DC and AC circuity * Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills; consistently taking the initiative to get things done, doing things before being asked by others or forced to by events. * Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team setting as well as with customers to define requirements and provide support.
