2281 - TEST & CERTIFICATION PROJECT ENGINEER

Description:
Create, harmonize and ensuring schedule compliance in support of successful project accomplishment

Ensure proper working link between BA, BFTC, and other work packages.

Coordinate and track to ensure major Supplier/BA deliverables are available on schedule

Create, harmonize and track compliance to various schedules required to manage the project

Coordinate snag disposition between Avionics supplier and WP's through FRACAS tool

Track and status the release of Certification Documents, drawings and Test Definition Sheets

Solve problems in a timely fashion and with a high level of quality.

Design and produce proper visibility packages and governance (IPDT, KPIs, status presentation, DMM material, internal reviews, follow up of escalations). Presentation material to upper Management as required.

Manage priorities, and communicate and harmonize these priorities

Coordinate multi-site activities as necessary

Support Budget preparation and provide associated visibility (Budget vs Spend etc)

Actively support the Achieving Excellence (AE) departmental objectives

Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent working experience, with 5 years+ experience in aerospace testing area (essential)

Familiar with testing environment and processes

Familiar with Program/Project Management.

Familiar with BA environment and processes (an asset)

Professional attitude and superior communication skills (essential).

Excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.

Pro-active attitude and an ability to manage multiple priorities.

Self-motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic.

Ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment.

Effective problem solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets.

Good computing skills;

Proficient in MS Office and have experience with MS Access/Project.

Some travel will be required
