Structural/Stress Engineer

Description:
Structural/Stress Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Fort Worth, TX

The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:
This position requires an Aircraft Stress Analyst to use their technical expertise to perform analysis of aircraft primary and secondary structure. The candidate will have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of aircraft structural analysis

Technical/Functional skills:
This position is located at a facility that requires special access----Experience performing stress analysis by hand calculations--Experience building complex finite element models and performing linear, nonlinear, and buckling analyses--Knowledge of aircraft stress analysis methods and basic structural design criteria--Familiarity with CAD software--Understanding of drawing practices, material properties, and manufacturing processes

What You’ll Be Doing:
The candidate will be expected to work independently with only general oversight. The candidate will be responsible for documenting work clearly and concisely.F-35 experience preferred.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
• Bachelor Degree
• Proficiency with SLIM/TMP VIsion, Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Windows and LINUX/UNIX operating systems, and computer programming experience in FORTRAN, VBA, C/C++ and PERL.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be detail-oriented, accurate and well organized
