JOB TITLE: Aircraft Machine Shop Assembly Technician
LOCATION: Orangeburg, SC
PAY RATE: $26/hour

Summary:
Set up and operate machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, and tube bending equipment.
Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Repair, modify, and install power plants and drive trains.
Solder electronic and avionics products.
Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics components.
Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices.
Conduct basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
Apply protective coatings for corrosion resistance and appearance.
Work on moderately complex assemblies using established drawings and specifications.
Non-managerial, non-leadership role.
Required Skills:
1+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
