Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Description:
Seeking a Integration and Test Engineer for an opening in the Washington DC Metro Area.*Must have Active Secret Clearance, or Interim Clearance.*

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform ERAM Integration and Test Engineering, following Leidos' established processes, in support of the following activities:
a) Development/test/validation of I&T scenarios
b) Development of test plans/procedures
c) Test Execution in the Lab
d) Data analysis necessary to verify PR fixes
e) CR verification
f) Regression testing
g) IT status reporting
h) Other related tasks as requested
i) System Owner Support
1) Manage and own issues in multiple labs/deployed systems in multiple locations
2) Actively work with system owner leadership to manage the fix flow and release deployment in the deployed system
3) Develop and implement release management strategies and procedures
j) Debug and resolve/identify software and system issues, working across the various system functions and threads
k) Write tools/productivity aids to help manage the various systems
l) Create scripts/tools to automate log analysis and system recovery actions
m) Provide Tech Lead support across ERAM System Owner Function
n) Provide backup to other ERAM system owners
o) Other related tasks as requested

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
a) Good communication and interpersonal skills
b) Demonstrated technical integration skills in prior work performed
c) Understanding of Linux, AIX or other UNIX type operating system
d) Test or similar technical experience working with complex systems
e) Demonstrated success working in a team oriented environment
f) Ability to perform in a fast paced environment

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
a) ERAM/DataComm Project experience
b) Knowledge of deploying of Air Traffic Control Systems
c) Knowledge and understanding of how to test complex systems
d) Experience preparing test plans & procedures
e) Experience in lab test execution
f) FAA Air Traffic domain knowledge

FULL TIME/1ST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 am - 5:00
Overtime and weekend hours may be required to complete assigned tasks.
