Job Description

Full life-cycle embedded systems experience: requirements, design, implementation and test
Skilled in the design, implementation, debug and test of interrupt-driven device-
Skilled in understanding hardware implementations and designing efficient software drivers
Skilled in designing abstract and efficient interfaces for upper-layer software
Experience with Board Support Packages (BSP) and CPU board bring-up
Experience with boot-loaders, initialization/sequencing, memory-management
Experience with source-level debuggers, BDMs, logic-analyzers and oscilloscopes
Experience with performance and memory-use analysis and optimization
Familiarity with Freescale single-core and multi-core embedded processors
Desired: Experience with data-communications protocol stacks and device-drivers
Desired: Experience with L2/L3 data communications products, protocols and device-drivers
Desired: Experience with telecommunications transport products, SONET and OTN software
Familiar with process-oriented software design and development practices
Ability to perform in a team-oriented environment
Experience with Broadcom Strata board
Experience with Yocto Linux
Experience compiling the Yocto Linux kernel with the drivers and toolchains for the Strata Hardware.
Ability to perform to schedule with required quality and performance requirements
