Description:
Llooking for a Senior Systems Engineer Contractor to join our Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team. You will be responsible for developing and deploying MBSE capabilities and solutions informed by Enterprise Program needs and MBSE, Model Based Engineering (MBE), and Affordability Solution technological roadmaps.
Successful candidates will work in a fast paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team to develop and deploy capabilities that support Program start-up and execution. Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to resolve cross-functional technical issues, and the ability to 'see the big picture' beyond MBSE are ideal.

Position Responsibilities:
- Applies experience and knowledge of Systems Engineering processes to develop and deploy MBSE / MBE solutions, including the tools, processes, and training needed to ultilze the capabilities on a Program.
- Integrates and tracks development performance and risks, issues, opportunities to ensure on-time performance with first-pass quality for major capability deployments to Programs.
- Responsible for developing requirements and capturing use cases, performing trade studies, developing, integrating, and testing new and modified capabilities in support of the MBSE solutions.
- Program outreach and communication with MBSE users, System Architecture Leads, and SE leadership
- Identification and prioritization of program needs to improve 2CES MBSE tool suite
- MBSE startup for new and existing programs
- Generate reference and starter MBSE artifacts (such as reference system models, plans, etc.) enabling efficient Program startup.

Education / Experience:
Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 9 years of relevant experience of equivalent combiation of education and experience
- 3 or more years of experience with requirements, designs, and design analysis
- Experience with Systems Engineering Principles
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
