Quality Assurance Engineer - New Mexico

Description:
This will be supporting commercial Spaceship projects where you can be a part of human spaceflight and the new space age.

Your Mission
 Manage the compliance of the quality activities facilities through the
application of system, product, and process audits.
 Be able to set up an audit program and conduct audits
 Conduct product, system or process failure investigations and provide technical assistance in
resolution of quality problems
 Issue and verify require corrective action implementation for timeliness and effectiveness
 Provide liaison support to supplier quality engineers
 Review and interpret Engineer Requests
 Review Maintenance Planning or Task Cards
 Support the development of Inspection CII program
 Able to interpret technical information (Drawings, Work Instructions)
 FAA/EASA regulatory knowledge (Part 21 and Part 145)
 Collect and analyzed data to drive improvements

What You Bring
 Bachelors in Aeronautical Science or similar
 CQE /CQA preferred but not required
 Strong knowledge in systems, structures, or electrical/software
 Previous Manufacturing environment experience
 Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint.etc)
 FAA/EASA or AS9100 knowledge
 Presentation and Soft skills

Physical and/or Additional Requirements
 Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime as well as weekends when needed.
 Must be able to stand/seat for extended periods – 9 hours min.
 Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces.
 Physically able to handle items weighing up to 50lbs (unassisted).
 Occasional travel to different sites if required

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen,
lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or
eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
