Job Details and Requirements Section

What are the top 3-5 skills / technologies and qualifications required?
Experience working directly with assembly technicians, ideally some hands-on experience with high-reliability composites or electro-mechanical assembly processes
Demonstrates ability to identify problems and bring cross-functional group together to find a resolution
Experience with Process Development for manufacturing of a new design Root Cause and Corrective Action experience (RCCA) – demonstrate ownership over identifying root cause and implementing a corrective action

What is the ideal candidate background including number of years’ experience?
➢ 2-8 years of experience working in high-reliability manufacturing environment (e.g. automotive, aerospace, biomedical industry)
➢ Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Systems engineering bachelor’s degree from reputable university

Are there any certifications that the candidate must possess?
➢ NASA J-STD certification a plus, but not required

Will any of the following be required for this position: overtime, travel, on call, weekends, off hours? Could you confirm the standard work hours?
➢ Standard schedule is 9/80 (9 hours per workday with every other Friday off)
➢ Potential for limited overtime and occasional work on “off Fridays”
➢ Not anticipating travel, but possible travel within Southern California <10%
