JOB TITLE: Avionics Wire Harness Routing Engineer
LOCATION: Tustin, CA
PAY RATE: Up to $85/hour

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Developing wire harness routing paths for vehicles, collaborating with the team, using Catia 3DX, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities also include conducting design reviews, managing production support, and handling change requests and non-conformances.
Required Skills
B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), or 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in integrating wire harnesses in a vehicle.
Understanding of Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS) principles.
Knowledge of aircraft-type wiring and components (connectors, backshells, conduits, relays, switches, terminal junctions, etc.).
Preferred Skills
Experience with Catia V5 and Catia 3DX.
Design and shop floor experience.
Experience with mechanical components (machined parts, sheet metal, composite lay-up).
Familiarity with electrical databases (e.g., Mentor Graphics).
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio.
Experience with flight test instrumentation sensors.
