Electric Controls Engineer

Description:

A minimum 5 years experienced electrical control designer.

1 Overview for control design
Our design works are mainly applied to body / assembly process in automotive industries.
The control is involved with:
1-1 Parts loading equipment / Parts unloading equipment / Jig turn table / Line conveyor system
1-2 Jig for parts set / Jig for parts weld / Robot hand to grip parts
1-3 Parts handling robot interface / Parts welding robot interface / Fixed gun station interface
1-4 Small parts (bolts / nuts / etc.) feed equipment interface
1-5 Gun cooling system control
1-6 Over all robot cell integration combined with item 1-1 through 1-5.

2 Electrical Project Estimate
2-1 Be able to estimate price for parts and labor to complete
control design / fabrication / installation / commissioning

3 Hardware Design
3-1 Be able to design and trouble shoot:
Power distribution control system from 480VAC-3Phase -> 208VAC-3Phase -> 120VAC -> 24VDC
3-2 Be able to design and trouble shoot:
Control system with safety PLC and safety relay unit by TOYOPUC / OMRON / MITSUBISHI / A-B / KEYENCE / SUNX
3-2 Be able to design and trouble shoot field control net works:
UNI-WIRE / DEVICE NET / CC-LINK / COMPOBUS / DATA HIGHWAY / PROFIBUS etc.
3-3 Be able to design and trouble shoot PLC input device:
PHOTO SENSOR / LIGHT CURTAIN / PROXIMITY SENSOR / TOUCH SENSOR / REED SENSOR / LIMIT SWITCH
3-4 Be able to design and trouble shoot PLC output device:
RELAY / CONTACTOR / MOTOR STARTER / SOLENOID VALVE etc.
3-5 Be able to design and trouble shoot:
Single phase AC motor with capacitor, VFD, 3Phase induction motor, Servo Motor etc.

4 Software Design
4-1 Be able to design and to trouble shoot PLC / SERVO AMP & MOTOR / ENCODER / HMI etc.
PLC includes TOYOPUC / OMRON / MITSUBISHI / YASKAWA.
HMI includes MITSUBISHI and PROFACE.
Candidates must have over 5 years TOYOPUC PLC design experience.
4-2 Be able to design and to trouble shoot net work interface with
ROBOT / WELD TIMER CONTROL / OTHER AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT

5 Control Support
5-1 Be able to correct / adjust wiring and programming errors during equipment auto run test.
5-2 Support Robot Teach engineer to run full auto with robots
5-3 Support our customer for any control adjustment at a job site.

6 General Requirement
6-1 Self starter to handle multi tasks
6-2 Team player to help other short handed works
6-3 Be able to manage time to finish assigned works on time
6-4 Articulated / organized person
6-5 Willing to take 'Out of State Site Jobs' (few weeks at time, 2~3 times per year)
