Our client, a global security and aerospace company, is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. Solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions to help customers keep people safe and provide them essential services, our client is hiring for the following critical need:

APG Mechanic – P3
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Greenville, SC
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and modify P-3 Orion aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
• Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging and aircraft movement.
• Regularly required to perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance.
• Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks.
• Regularly exposed to vibration.
• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
• Must be able to properly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions.
• Required to work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Must possess at minimum, 3 years of P3 Orion
• MMRO or Flight Line Experience
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant License a Plus!
• Provide shadowed toolbox with etched tools per minimum inventory and specifications as detailed by the company.
