Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
A Manufacturing Engineer job opportunity in Wilson, NC is available through Belcan. To be considered for this role, you will have a Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree plus three or more years of relevant work experience. In this role, you will utilize your hands on manufacturing experience to help design, fabricate and align linear sensor electro-mechanical assembly and test equipment to improve current production build process.

Manufacturing Engineer Job Duties:
* Suggest and help implement improvements for the product build process by working with others in Design and on the Product Build Team
* Work with Test Group to convert requirements into definitive tests and determine what of those can be met by similarity or analysis based on previous programs
* Develop test equipment and execution
* Drive specific tasks, including working directly with production and the other groups to improve the existing products and execute development hardware build up.
* Review and support investigation of production issues as they arise on the floor.
* Work with the Continuous Improvement Team to resolve issues, reduce scrap and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial)
* Minimum three years of relevant work experience
* Hands on manufacturing experience including equipment set up, test and operation
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
