Maintenance Planner - E&I / Process Controls

Description:
An E&I Process Controls Systems Maintenance Planner job is immediately available in Baytown, Texas with one of Belcan's leading partners in the chemical processing industry. In this role you will be responsible for planning all non-emergency and preventive maintenance plans for electrical and instrumentation control systems through the plant. In order to qualify for this job you will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in E&I maintenance planning and at least 5 years of experience of hands-on, heavy industrial maintenance work experience

Responsibilities

* Plan non-emergency electrical and instrumentation control systems maintenance jobs assessing and planning man-hour & cost estimates, material requirements, access needs, etc.
* Create job plans for repairs/replacement of instrumentation and electrical control systems and all related electrical equipment in areas of responsibility
* Outline detailed work instructions for work execution, outlining safety advice, resources, material, tools and services
* Work closely with the Contractor Manager to manage workforce resources

Qualifications

* Minimum of five years of heavy industrial maintenance experience and supervision background and/or Tech Degree
* Minimum of two years electrical and instrumentation planning experience
* First hand knowledge of analog and digital instrumentation and controls, distributed and computer controlled systems, PLCs and electrical equipment
* Strong knowledge of SAP - PM Maintenance Transactions, Documentum, Micosoft Office Products and Meridium
