Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer’s Level 2, 3, 4

Guidance Nav & Control Engr 2
Gathers, defines and documents system level requirements to support flight control and mission or trajectory requirements. Performs and documents design and analysis of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) models and tools. Supports troubleshooting of routing operational anomalies, functional tests and services incidents. Executes tests, performs analysis or simulation and design review per FAA, MIL-SPEC and NASA guidance to deliver a compliant product. Supports development of solutions and disposition of issues to assure customer satisfaction. Participates in new business development efforts. Works under general supervision.
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering.

Guidance Nav & Control Engr 3
Gathers, defines and documents system level requirements to support flight control and mission or trajectory requirements definition. Resolves requirement conflicts. Performs and documents analysis and design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems to validate or assess the system design or models. Develops solutions and disposition of issues to assure customer satisfaction. Designs trade studies to meet program requirements. Works under general direction.
Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

Guidance Nav & Control Engr 4
Gathers, defines and documents system level requirements and investigates actions necessary for requirements definition and flow-down improvement. Performs and documents design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems and guides experienced engineers in performance of the designs. Develops GNC and mathematical tools and techniques and aids in developing Technology roadmaps. Performs or directs test data analysis and documentation. Presents findings of compliance to regulatory agencies, negotiates certification basis in alignment project goals, simulation and design review per FAA, MIL-SPEC and NASA guidance. Trains and coaches others. Works under minimal direction.
Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
