FMS SYSTEMS / SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Description:
ENEA is working with a client to provide System Software Analysis on Flight Management Systems (FMS). We are looking for an engineer with direct FMS experience and has functional expertise in one of the following areas: Performance, Navigation, Guidance, or Communications/DataLink.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform system optimization and assess overall performance through the use of in-house or custom-developed analysis tools.
• Compare the performance of architecture variants and conduct trade studies.
• Mentor and work with junior analysts as part of larger study teams.
• Apply broad and/or deep experience with customer aerospace systems and technologies in one or more specific functional areas (Performance, Navigation, Guidance, or Communication/DataLink).
• Provide expert advice within a specific technology or functional area (Performance, Navigation, Guidance, or Communication/DataLink).
• Provide support for growing modeling and analysis capabilities in new support areas.
• Interact independently with program office and customer organizations.
• Creatively and effectively apply analysis to problems as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Science or Electrical Engineering)
• 10+ years’ experience in Systems and Software Engineering.
• Substantial experience or background in one of the following areas: architecture performance analysis and modeling; optimization and/or decision support; communications systems analysis; electronics systems analysis, software and/or simulation development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependability and good interpersonal skills.
