Engineering Design Checker

Description:
HIRING: Engineering Design Checker! We are seeking candidates with the ability to obtain a secret clearance and CATIA V5 experience. We have an excellent opportunity for you! Open and apply, if you qualify!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Examines engineering drawings
* Support engineers in the review of design data that will comply with applicable military specifications, SAE, ANSI, ASME, and other related standards.
* Responsible for reviewing drawings for formatting errors and working with the engineering team to ensure a high level of quality in the design data.
* Responsible for reviewing change documentation and its related incorporations for completeness and correctness.
* Will help develop a set of common Design Standards that meets our Customers and Program requirements.
* Will be expected, at times, to be involved with the drawing creation and subsequent Production review processes.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Ability to obtain a secret clearance
* Familiarity with SAE AS50881 and ANSI/ASME Y14.100 or related design and drafting standards *CATIA V5 experience
* Familiarity with Change Documentation process and all related requirements to this process
* Microsoft office suite experience

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Teamcenter or similar PDM/PLM software tool
* Experience working in an aerospace environment with exposure to or interface with DoD customers
* AutoCAD or other 2D drafting program
