Product Support Coordinator


PDS TECH INC is currently looking for a Product Support Coordinator for our client in Jacksonville, FL

Position Summary
With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of product support duties following well defined procedures and processes in one or more of the following functions: raw stocks, parts identification, shipping, receiving, stockroom, stock handling, clean operations, parts handling, etc. 
1. One year product support or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform described position responsibility.
2. General knowledge of computer terminal operations.
3. May be required to operate moving equipment and saw equipment and meet OSHA safety qualifications.  
4. May require forklift operator certificate.  
5. Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
6. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
7. Ability to read and understand related forms and specifications.
8. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.  
9. Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 

The position will be a floater, from Shipping and Receiving support to Material Handler.

Job Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
•           Two or more years industry related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment.
•           Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
•           Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
•           Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications. Perform basic mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
•           Possess strong mechanical reasoning.
•           Able to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
•           Possess effective interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
•           Able to interpret reports and use standard business software applications. Able to use employee self-service to access on-line information and use specialized automated systems (i.e. PMR, TORS, e-mail).
•           May require soldering certification per customer requirements.
•           Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and
•           self-development activities.

Will train on 1st shift for 1 -2 weeks at $14/ and then convert to 2nd shift at $15/hr.  HOURS:  3:30pm -  1:00AM
