Ground Test Lab - Mechanical Subsystems

Johnson Service Group has 2 openings for a Ground Test Lab for a 2-year contract for our client in Stratford, CT!!!

Description:
Support the Design IPT by providing primary POC oversight of external supplier development of mechanical subsystems (such as floor armor panels or medical stretcher bearing litter, etc. as assigned).
Participation in weekly supplier teleconference/web meetings to assure technical progress, facilitate communication and technical directions from the IPT lead, provide oversight to assure timely supplier data deliverables to support the subsystem design, development and testing per schedule. Provide status of project activities and deliverable item disposition by IPT member SMEs.
Good ability to communicate work progress to the IPT CAM for Earned Value progress entry. The candidate must possess the ability and experience to provide technical oversight and review of supplier generated drawing package and 3D CATIAV5 (LCA) models.
Ability to work in an IPT team environment (with system engineering, structural analysts, weight/balance engineer, materials, manufacturing, test, team members) with good communication skills is a must.
Tracking status and monitoring progress of external design center drawing packages and similar tasking will be required.
