  In your role, you will:
  • Perform various stress analyses of Static Strength, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance, and Finite Element Model (FEM) for metallic and composite structures.
  • Prepare the official stress reports in English for certification purposes.
  • Review engineering drawings and participate actively in new design.
  • Perform Material Review Board (MRB) duties in support of Operations activities.
  • Engage in Engineering development work.
  • Support various Aircraft development projects and initiatives.
  • Work in close cooperation with other Engineering/PMP functions (Liaison, Design, Materials & Processes, Weights, Project, Systems, Program, etc.) and Operations (Methods, Quality, and Production).
  • Support the Engineering/PMO and Operations organizations.
    Qualifications
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
  • You have between 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry (preferably with an OEM).
  • You possess Material Review Board (MRB) work experience (preferred candidate).
  • You have knowledge and experience of Aircraft structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, and Damage Tolerance.
  • You have experience using Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, and Catia V5.
  • You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • You are an energetic person with good communication skills, who are willing to accept responsibilities in a multidisciplinary team working environment.
  • You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment.
  • You have flexibility in working day, evening, or weekend if necessary.
  • Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
This Permanent role is based in Montreal Canada, onsite working. Candidates must hold the rights to live and work in Canada.
