Mechanical Engineer with Active Secret DOD Clearance-TT

MUST have an Active Secret DOD Clearance within 4.5 years of last investigation******

Job description:

Support assembly and installation of composite and metallic components into larger aerospace assemblies.
Work closely with operations personnel to develop manufacturing solutions and solve production issues component and sub assembly installation, line drilling, power feed drilling, fastened assembly of composite and metallic structures, structural and non-structural bonding, hydraulic component installation, electrical component installation, and functional test of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Top three skills:
• • Active Secret DoD Clearance within 4½ years of last investigation
• Aerospace assembly and component installation experience including drilling and fastened assembly experience
• Structural and non-structural bonding experience

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Active Secret DoD Clearance within 4 ½ years of last investigation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or related and 10 years of applicable experience
• Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings
• Experience supporting an aerospace manufacturing process with the necessary materials, tooling, and equipment
• Knowledge of root cause / corrective action processes and techniques
• Functional knowledge of production control systems (SAP/Visual Mfg/etc)
• Experience authoring, modifying and auditing procedures
• Experience planning and streamlining manufacturing processes
• Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal direction
• Excellent computer skills. Skilled in working with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
