Be part of a cutting-edge aerospace team, supporting the development of next-generation electrical VTOL aircraft. Join PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. as an Airframe & Actuator Test Technician in Santa Cruz, CA. In this role, you will perform validation, testing, and assembly of aerospace components, ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $36-$50/hour

Role Responsibilities Include:

• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and engineering instructions.

• Assemble and test electro-mechanical components and systems.

• Conduct structural fabrication, leak detection, non-destructive testing, and instrumentation installation.

• Set up and operate test stands, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Use precision tools and perform light metal fabrication and machining.

• Install and troubleshoot instrumentation such as load cells, sensors, and gauges.

• Communicate test status and needs to engineers and leadership.

Qualified Candidate Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3+ years of experience assembling electromechanical mechanisms or power electronic assemblies

• Experience with data acquisition devices and sensors

• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency with hand tools, machine shop tools, and metrology instruments

• Experience operating forklifts and rigging equipment

• Understanding of aerospace safety and industry standards

• Familiarity with basic electronics tools and test lab environments
