Solder Technician

Description:
Introduction

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electronic Solder position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be on-site for a duration of 5 months or more. The job will be located in Piscataway, NJ.

Summary

The Solder Technician will be responsible for repair and modification of multilayer printed circuit boards using soldering equipment in accordance with FAA and Manufacturers requirements.

Remove/install electronic components on multilayer printed circuit boards utilizing surface mount and feed through technology. Modify equipment according to service bulletin and/or manufacturer documentation
Prepare printed circuit boards for modification by adding wire links, various adhesives and modifying integrated circuit locations
Works in collaboration with experienced solder technicians
Carries out prescribed procedures according to an established schedule
Work is reviewed by Solder Technicians, manager or inspectors
May work on alternative assignments with detailed written or oral instructions
Completes quality and production paper work and maintains maintenance documentation in accordance with current quality assurance requirements
Completes repairs in accordance with company ISO procedures and Standard Practices

Qualified candidates would have the following:
