Structural Analysis/DADT Engineer

Description:
NOTE: Customer prefers candidates with active clearance, however clearable candidates will be accepted.

Support IFG Stress/FEA team using computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite airframe structures, metallic sub-systems structures, finite element analysis, etc.).
Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.
Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyses the results.
Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software and ANSYS.
Familiarity and experience with other FEA tools such as NASTRAN, other pre/post processor software, as well as knowledge of MIL-HDBK-5 is also required.
Must have working knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool CATIA.
Must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.
Knowledge of FEA Tools such as NASTRAN, MIL-HDBK-5 is required.
