Software Architect

Description:
As a Software Architect on this team you will work with the Vehicle Health Management Solutions Chief Software Architect to create a common technical vision, make high-level design choices and develop software implementation guidelines to ensure that the software developed will meet functional requirements and design constraints. The software we develop will monitor and assess aircraft fault data to provide flight deck and maintenance personnel with appropriate information for assessing the health of the aircraft. There will be both on-board (semi-realtime to realtime) and off-board (web-based and cloud deployed) functionality to this software. Prior experience in developing software architectures in a complex system is critical to success in this role.
• Experience developing Large scale, complex software systems
• Experience in developing software architectures in a complex system
• Experience developing software in an agile environment
• Experience developing software in C++ and/or Java
• Experience working with embedded, real-time software
• Experience working with web-based applications deployed in the cloud
• Willingness to work with a geographically dispersed team.
