Description:

You will join a team that delivers a digital archive solution used for digital document delivery of bank statements, health cards, and other documents. You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment to test highly complex products. Our SQA and DEV teams work closely together in an atmosphere of collaboration and camaraderie. While some companies support a small number of web sites, we develop and support a myriad of applications that allow our clients to provide sites to hundreds of business customers. Product quality and stability are critical, and you will play a key role in that. As a valued member of our team, you will be encouraged to research new technologies and look for ways to improve the things we do.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Work closely with stakeholders, developers, test engineers for troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
Design and develop test plans, frameworks and approaches for major and minor software releases
• Develop automated API tests with Postman, Newman and Jenkins.
• Produce test automation using SOAPUI, JavaScript and other tools.

• Develop, document and implement test cases for web applications, web service applications and service-oriented architectures
• Effectively communicate with internal teams and customers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues on an as needed basis
Assist in the definition of internal QC standards and reliability programs.
• Implement tools and set up – QA environment, migration scripts, configuration, and automation.
• Effectively communicate with internal teams and customer as needed basis.
• Should be able to work independently
 
Required Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work experience can be substituted for education requirements.

Job Related Experience:
Requires 3 - 5 years of hands-on Software QA experience

Type of work experience required:
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem solving, critical thinking, ability to learn faster, effective communication skills & team player.
• Executing front-end and back-end tests, including Web API testing using Postman
• Executing manual and/or automated component, functional, system, integration, performance, and regression testing according to the test plan and established timelines.
• Prior experience performing with Agile/SCRUM methodology
• Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub

• Familiarity with software deployment tools

Additional Skills/Knowledge:
Experience with DB testing and SQL
• Experience with multiple testing frameworks
• Experience with JAVA/Web application testing desired.
• Experience with Rally or another agile project tracking tool
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
